Description

The Gulf of Venezuela, to the west of the country, has a high gas potential, allowing the development of the offshore project "Rafael Urdaneta".

This project includes the exploration of the Urumaco II Block, which was carried out by Incostas through studies of Monochannel and Multichannel High Resolution Geophysics, with the purpose of detecting and locating shallow risks that could interfere with the positioning of the jack. -up and, subsequently, the risks associated with the drilling phase, especially for the first 100 m of the subsoil, in which the conductor does not have protection against gas blowouts.
